Thanks for coming to the site! You might be wondering what is #BeMoreBundy all about? Well….let’s take us back to a time in Southampton in the 80s where a legend was born! That legend was called Peter James Bundy! He was called away from the world far too early in 2023 creating ripples of heartbreak amongst his friends and family.

Why are you reading this?

The primary purpose is for us (his friends) to have something tangible (a sticker) that reminds us what Pete loved to do (hang out with his mates in different places per detailed itineraries). This is also a friendship ‘bonding’ exercise whereby we get, through humor and adventure, the ability to share with each other fun and interesting locations (and likely, the occasional toilet) for Pete’s face to be part of the location.

Where did we get this idea?

As a group, we’ve always admired how Pete would be insatiably positive, insanely loyal, organised to the point of several ‘life admin’ spreadsheets with multiple ‘sheets’ and generally taking life by the horns. During the sad preparations for his funeral his close friend group got talking about Pete -> finitude, mortality, the importance of mateship and making the most of our time with friends were important lessons for us he has taught us; this was summarised into an observation that the world would be a happier, less serious and generally full of great mates if they took lessons from Pete -> this was shortened because who needs a long sentence to: #BeMoreBundy.
